As opposed to watching a football game where men run back and forth on a field doing NOTHING for an hour and a half, now you can see some REAL ACTION...................Frankie (with my hometown team, the Philadelphia Eagles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Great sport American football. Watched it a lot when I lived in Canada.

Just don’t get why they called it football as they hardly kick it.

Nah that’s just rugby for girls !!

Used to play in the 80's when it became really popular over here and there were loads of teams nationwide. There's a lot more to it than you think. Yes, rugby is hard and there's no pads but even with the pads there was some hard hitting.

A great spectacle for sure, but the beautiful game at it's best, no comparison :D

American Football and Rugby, that's just egg chasing ;)

Oh, Mesut Özil was just sublime last night:D

Sorry it's not the beautiful game anymore, unless you mean the prima donas who play it. Spoilt by money and the international love of amateur dramatics has infected the English game too! :(

We live in a democracy, your view is respected

Where else can you watch a sporting event where players strut around after making a great play and feeling like they did something special when they're actually getting paid MILLIONS to make the play as a NORMAL part of the game? Where else can you see dancing and prancing around after doing something they think is special when it's just part of the game that they get over paid to play?

The only football worth watching is the one with the prefix "Rugby". :)

I know its not as fast, possibly not as skillful, BUT....

You dont get all the arguments , falling over, playacting, cheating , diving and mobbing the officials in the Womens Football.

Hi @FRANKIE .just got into American football over last few years. Was at Wembly for last weekend's game Titans v Chargers.....fantastic game. So have managed to get ticket for Eagles v Jaguars...I can't wait. Will get behind the Eagles for you

I think America are the world champions at American football:wideyed:

Can’t think why:whistle:

Football is the most popular game in the world.Nobody spent money trying to spread it. Yanks have spent millions trying to get other nations interested in 'Dress up in motorcycle gear and run into eachother' , but nobody is interested. Football (the clue is in the name) is still the beautiful game. It was last night _ West Brom 1 Derby 4 'Come on you Rams'!
