When I took mine apart I labeled all the connectors. It's a neat tip I learned from watching Edd China all these years.

Ok took a bit of finding but found it in the end so here are the instruction;

To get the new correction factor you will have to first Brim the tank, reset the OBC so you get a clean MPG estimate for the tank and run it to empty then brim it back up and calculate your actual mpg using the formula below;

litres of fuel to brim tank divided by 4.546 = Gallons

Number of miles on a tank divided by above gallons of fuel = Actual MPG

Once you have your actual MPG also take the reading from the OBC for the estimated MPG then you will be able to use the following formula to calculate the new correction factor and pull the OBC MPG reading somewhere nearer to the real MPG.

New correction factor (CF) = Old CF x (actual MPG/OBC MPG)

Just use the above instructions in the picture to change the CF on the OBC.

And Bobs your uncle :)

Thanks @Aceman I would have never thought of the stalk being involved in the OBC. I had readings shortly after I got the car here but it was minimal and I thought that was all I'd get but haven't been able to even get my clock reading at the moment. I have two lit dashes on the display and nothing I could do works. On another topic, turned out Sean was wrong when he told me my TOO car had HT fittings installed so a good thing I went with my gut and didn't sell them to you. So sorry no fittings for sale or give away unfortunetly. He's made a few costly errors about this type of thing but I think it's just not being familiar with the cars themselves. JIM
