UPDATE.

Chesterfield BMW not so helfull they won't send me anything due to data protection
Well I said can't you just copy the info and delete the address

Waiting for a call back from a supervisor

The dectetive work goes on............
I find it strange that anything that involves a bit of work on their part, company's quote "date protection" but they've got no qualms about selling on our contact details to all and sundry.

To be fair this is a cost to their business to help and therefore they are under no need to do it. Hopefully they will as its the right thing to do.

New engine at 31k miles, wonder if it was a warranty job, would have been a big bill otherwise!

Shame I don't have invoices but apparently the owner made a part payment for the change :nailbiting:

Really excited I have just called Stratstone Chesterfield and my new service book has arrived :D
They said they will get it stamped up with the two services they did and send information on works carried out at their dealership :D:p
Detective BMBabe is still on the hunt for more info

:wideyed::wideyed::wideyed: £10000 worth of bills there. That car had had some serious pennies spent on it.

All the more reason to keep a record then, I would've thought ? Maybe it's history has been lost over the years but seems strange.

Tony.

Fair point, you would've though that someone in the car's past would have receipts for that amount of work. Either way all the better for you.

Tony.

I keep every receipt even for the smallest of things. It's all relevant to a cars life and always of interest to the next owner. I love reading stuff when I've bought a new car. Does that sound sad lol? :computer:
