Hi @Shelly and @Richard Howard sorry I've been a bit quiet, computer problems and insanely busy this last week.

We did fly in 2 weeks ago and had lunch with the airfield owner, and yes I have been meaning to report back, the parking fields are bone dry!

Meeting point, my original suggestion of the pub was based purely on Google Maps, I've only ever driven to Old Buck once, so would need a SatNav to find it. I don't know the area very well at all so if I can hand this over to @Richard Howard as the "local" to advise, I would be most appreciative. I could however, fly you there from Gt Yarmouth without a map or satnav!

Hmmm, still trying to work out how I can get there without upsetting the family. Need to see about a morning pass, just to come and say hello.

Hi Kevin & Shelly.
Just done a reccie to Old Buck - to be honest I think the meeting point at The Ox & Plough isn't suitable as there is very limited parking, it's on a narrow single track lane which is a dead end & it's difficult to turn around at the end - furthermore there is a church on the entrance to this lane & being the event is on a Sunday, I'm guessing that any available parking may be taken up with church goers.
So the options are;
A) Old Buckenham Villiage Hall - Abbey Road, Old Buck - NR17 1RH - Reasonable sized car park at rear of the hall - however, I can't find out whether they have anything on on Sunday so you could take a chance there!
B) Bunns Bank Industrial Area - located on the B1077 between Attleborough & Old Buck village - NR17 1QD - There is a long tarmac road leading into this estate and about 300yds on this road is a disused concrete car park on the left - there are speed bumps on this road though, so you'd have to be a bit careful! This is about 3 miles from the airfield.
C) Queens Square Car Park in the centre of Attleborough - NR17 2AZ - This is about 5 miles from the airfield. The road through Attleborough is one way & the entrance to the car park can be easily missed if you're not careful - if you do miss the entrance, you have to go right round the one way system to get back to it again.

What do you think'll be best?

I've just had a email from Matt Wilkins
He said at the moment this event is still on
But if the weather changes it might have to be cancelled
He's going to email me at some point on Saturday if it is cancelled
I won't be tell you until I finish work on Saturday night ( unless I hear from him before I start )
Please look at this thread before you all start off on Sunday morning
As it will be after 11-12 ish before I can post
Also he said their might not be as many aircraft flying in due to high winds
