I have read lots on this site about your famous cakes @Shelly but never been in the right place / lucky enough to have a slice. Am hoping 30th April will be the day....only 192 days to wait....and counting. Its a bit like waiting for Christmas.

I can confirm the scones are good!

Old Buckenham Airfield have released the date for their Spring Wings and Wheels Event

A few of us tried to get here this year (2016) but the event got cancelled due to weather.

Anybody up for 2017?

I've just noticed that this is going to clash with the Duxford Spring Car show which was extremely well attended last year. Should we scrub this one in favor of the Duxfiord event?

just checked the Old Buck website http://oldbuck.com/en/events/wing-wheels-2017/ and they haven't opened registration yet, I'll email them tomorrow and get an update.

Meeting point, I'm going to suggest the layby in front of the Ox & Plough pub in Old Buckenham village.

I do have one slight problem, in that I may not be able to make it. Somehow I'd overlooked it's my daughters birthday that day. But I'm happy to keep organising it. She will be 17 though, I could slap on some L plates and get her to drive!

Bu$$er - we booked a hotel for Duxford the day we got the BMWCC Email!!!!!
