Hate being the one who calls out others modifications, each to their own and it's your car and all... But I don't need this on a Bank Holiday Monday, should have stayed in bed.

Certainly different; brat pack style I guess. :D

Awful isn’t it! Like i said on that thread makes me a lot happier about my lacquer peeled faded paint😂

Well in fairness the guy’s description of the product and it’s increasing use/appeal is accurate.

For all over use it’s something I would mainly associate with 4x4s and trucks etc and there are plenty using it for that. But I’ve seen various cars done with it too.

First time I’ve seen it on a Z3 though. Seems a little out of place to me but each to his own.

Yea it looks ok on some of the vehicles on his page but not on the zed imho.

Someone in our street has just painted their house a dark grey and I thought it was an interesting undercoat colour but now know it’s the main colour. Most house colours in our small culdisac are quite vibrant,
do I like it ?, don’t really matter cos what’s done is done,
does it affect me ?, only when I look at it,
are the owners bothered ?, shouldn’t think so,
will they change it ?, who knows,
do I really care?, well yes as a matter of fact I do,
will this make any difference. Ha ha we all know the answer to this one.
Go back to bed Gaz and this time try getting out the other side,…………….. will it make any difference ?,etc etc.:highfive:

I love it. I love the fact a few people are still willing to express their unique personality by wasting money ruining a perfectly good car.

I miss Barry boys spending a fortune on baked bean can exhausts and body kits that never really fit

I miss seeing 17” alloys on a car that’s meant to have 14” steel wheels. You could have swapped out the suspension and actually improved something instead….

i miss being 15 and flicking through the Demon Tweeks magazine

I resent seeing most newly qualified drivers in (nearly) new cars on finance.

Long live modifications
Long live individual personalities
Long live the regret of looking back and realising you could have paid off your mortgage sooner if you didn’t do it but your making the same decision again today regardless….
Long live someone else doing it and not me!!!! 🤣

I dig it, shrug lol

I'm wrapping my project in matte green right now haha

I’ve just cancelled my respray for the 2.8 ........pink and beige raptor stripes perhaps not such a good idea...............

Well i like it , and to be honest who cares if nobody else does its the owner car and he can do what he likes with it at least its another Z saved and will be loved in its own way

Well.. at least he never has to polish it lol.

Not really any different from these "matt" finish wraps, which I personally don't like. But, each to their own eh?

Tony

Generally speaking I’m not a fan of matt finished cars either. Nor am I particularly a fan of red cars, but some do pull it off.

As an example, a matt green Mercedes GT-R.
I’ve seen this in the flesh (maybe not this exact car) and it does work well.
