My Zed3 has been tucked away in our garage for months it's been sorned for the last three.
About a month ago I took it out to clean it, which I did. Then Maxine noticed a patch of what looked like dried oil on the garage floor, where the front nearside wheel had been.
Today, I finally got around to investigating where it had come from. Well, it came from the front shock absorber so a new one is needed.
Being a keen EBayer I was straight into searching then the plan changed, obviously I should replace both sides to keep it even, then it changed again and I decided to do the rear as well.
I found a Bilstein kit all four shocks mounts and stops for some £286 in Poland (free postage) I thought, that's not bad, but I'll make an offer, I've never done that before! I offered £250 and received a response from EBay and told to wait for a reply from the vendor. I thought, I won't hear anything until Monday.
However, almost immediately, I received a message to say offer accepted and you saved £36.
I SHOULD HAVE OFFERED LESS.
