Oil change went well and he did everything other that the sump plug replacement. I wanted to be sure it was in and right before we started filling with new oil.
The spark plug change was a tougher job as the old ones were a b****r to get out. I was worried something was going to give. It was a lesson on penetrating oil and patience.Got there in the end and he really enjoyed it. I enjoyed the time with him. Even my missis got in on the act and dyed my car seat. Heres a pic.I’ll post a pic of the finished article one the second coat has been polished and the seats been treated with leather care.
Have a great weekend everyone

Don't have a clue what Fortnite is but glad you got the plugs sorted. I've never understood why some people fit them so tight it's like they're welded in.
A nice leather refurb is quite a satisfying job and gives quite impressive results. Well done on getting your son to help.

Fortenite ? not a clue either. Well done on the works carried out always a worry when spark plugs are tight.

I can’t believe you guys haven’t heard of Fortnite. You’re so lucky. Bain of my life. The spark plug removal was a worry. Two of them started to undo then seized and would not do back up again either. I was panicking but the penetrating oil and time sorted them.
I wasn’t sure whether to put anti seize grease on the new ones? Lots of conflicting opinions on that. I didn’t. I wait to be reprimanded!
