What is it? Radiator drain plug?
Yeah.. metal washers tend to rust to the rad so when you try and turn it the plastic plug snaps.. great design!
oooh…. might be worth checking both cars and putting some grease on them… and the two spare ones

Beware of greases on them bits, vaseline might be suitable. Just head to the nearest chemist and tell them you're off to a party at the weekend. Should get you served quickly.

Vaseline is petrol-based. Petrol melts rubber over time.Beware of greases on them bits, vaseline might be suitable. Just head to the nearest chemist and tell them you're off to a party at the weekend. Should get you served quickly.
Silicone-based anything is safe as a 'lubricant' on rubber or plastic parts.

Ok, head off to the chemist and ask for some silicon lube. You'll still get served quickly.
And, yes, I have had to go to a chemist in Pwllheli and buy some vaseline and KY jelly.
