They all seem to do that. If the end won’t just turn and come out try supergluing something to the end. Alternatively get a reverse drill bit on it.

Beware of greases on them bits, vaseline might be suitable. Just head to the nearest chemist and tell them you're off to a party at the weekend. Should get you served quickly.:thumbsup:

Beware of greases on them bits, vaseline might be suitable. Just head to the nearest chemist and tell them you're off to a party at the weekend. Should get you served quickly.:thumbsup:
Vaseline is petrol-based. Petrol melts rubber over time.
Silicone-based anything is safe as a 'lubricant' on rubber or plastic parts.

And, yes, I have had to go to a chemist in Pwllheli and buy some vaseline and KY jelly.

Yes, I did tell the lady behind the counter I was off to a party at the weekend.

Yes, I did get served quickly.

Not been back since.

I hasten to add, there were horse-related reasons for this purchase. Not personal, oh no.
