OEM Front Springs

I just think the front is higher than it should be.

Do you have any other photos ?

Like Tony said the front does look higher. I can send over the Bentley manual in PDF in you want to check measurements. If my memory serves me well its top of arch to centre of wheel.

It does look high, but a measurement (from the ground up to the wheel arch) might help and tyre/wheel size would also help compare with other owner‘s cars ? The thickness of the upper and lower spring rubber seat pads will also make a difference.

Tony.

I always believed that bigger wheels allow for lower profile tyres while maintaining the same rolling radius. ie same overall tyre height

No point in sending photos as the old wheel arches are gone.

I'll wait now to see what it looks like once the body is nailed down ans it's been over a few road humps to get it settled.

But this whole thing reminds me of the mk4 spitfire I got that, I think, had GT6 front springs. Also looked too high. But getting back to stock springs was easy.

That should be the case, to maintain correct speedometer readings.

Tony.

If the overall cicumfrence of the tyres is bigger than stock rhen you've affected the gearing and the speedo is wrong.
it probably is!..but they've been on there since before we bought it and that was about 6 years ago....don't go mad in the zed anyway...it's for cruising the country roads..😀

What size (profile) tyres are you running on the rears Matt?

Tony.
