Only just noticed this odd looking nut (the big one) it's on the passenger side strut only (RHD 98 2.8 Roadster). Any heads up would be most appreciated (clearly not very attentative).
Thanks

Think I've clocked that one, under the cover just behind? Only had the car 6 months, first time I've noticed it! Note to self ...... must try harderNow you have to hunt and find the +ve one cos that's the -ve.

Top tips coming out of my ears tonight, resultOne of the nice features of the Z3 is the jump start points in the engine bay and the battery in the boot. Yesterday the battery went flat on my dads X-Trail which was blocking my car in the driveway. Ordinarily much shouting and swearing would ensue, but BMWs forethought had me covered!
EDIT: Oh, and if you ever look for a front strut brace for the Z3, then you need to buy one which has the cut out for the negative terminal - or buy yourself a good hacksaw![]()
