Hello, I have a problem with my Z3 2.0 1999

Wear brake pad light come on the dash and it go away after few minutes. Sometimes also tail fog light on dash lit but lights at the back are not lit. When these both control lights are on on the dash and when I switch the left turn signal, in the front there is left signal blinking, but in the back there is right signal blinking, also after I pushs brake pedal the reverse lights come on. Sometimes there are lights blinking like in the video. When I push hazards for a few second, fog light control go away. I recently drove 40 km without this problem and then it occured again. Brake pad wear come on sometimes. Problem is is there only with the front light switch on.

Another possibility is the main light switch is faulty.

Or the wiring loom on the left hand side next to the boot gas strut, over time with all the opening and closing, wears away the outer sheaths of the wires causing shorts.

As the brake pads wear, just as they get to the limit the wear warning light will be intermittent as they wear further it will become more permanent. UNLESS this is a fault also caused by shorts in that wiring loom. Doubt it though. Are your brakepads worn?
