Hello,

I still need to get the wires for my OBD2-connection. + speed/rpm wires.
1) what wires are connected to the OBD2-D-socket under the dash?
2) what are the colours of the speed and RPM wires going to the normal dash cluster.

I am no good in ready electronics schema's.
So I really need help with this one.

I really need to know the colours of the cables, not only which pin at the dash side.
Because I don't have the dash connected any more. No more cables in the cabin.
I only have a bunch of cables coming through the bulkhead (from engine compartment to the interior)

I have an OBD2-interface-cable that is connected to my dash, but need to know the wires from the "car-side" still.
The RPM and Speed wires i something I was adviced to take from the speedo, directly to the new digital-dash-cluster because taking the input from the OBD2 would have too much delay in it.

Thanks in advance,
Koen

This is the only wiring in the car for now.
So the OBD and the wires to the normal dash should be in here...somewhere...
Who can help??

So nobody who knows where the OBD2 wires come from? :(
Or the colour code of the rev-wire going to the tacho?

OK Koen, is it just the wires you need to identify to go in which plug of the rectangular port under the steering column ?

I only have a couple of wire coming through the bulkhead (as on the picture above).
I would need to know which colours are supposed to connect to the OBD-plug, or where they come from so that I could trace them.
From the OBD-plug I have a special connector made by the dash-company. So, that is ok.

I think the OBD-coonector would only have 4 wires:
4&5 ground
16 power
and pin 7 signal.
But where do I get the signal from.

I think (but as I said, I'm not good in these schema's) it is a 0.5mm WS/VI wire on the ECU pin 88
But not sure at all.

And engine speed (RPM) should be black 0.5mm pin 80 from the ECU...not sure about that one either
