Has anyone any ideas what, I'm assuming, noxious gasses would be emitted if you were to put a lithium-ion battery in a hydraulic press and compressed it until it exploded?
A bit random I know but all will become clear.

Tony.

Not if you get any of that stuff in eyes :whistle:
All will become unclear =))

Not too sure on the games mate but I'm assuming they wouldn't be nice.

Interesting, maybe where the idea came from. Would you do that 2-3 ft away from a 45 gallon drum used to collect waste mixed fuels, petrol and diesel ?

Tony.
WTF! These things can go like a train given the right circumstances. Nice warm day, plenty of petrol fumes = spark = orange afro and ginger eyebrows :woot:

So, another question. Would you consider this to be normal behaviour for a 40 year old with 2 young children, the youngest a few months old baby? Would you do this in a workspace that was occupied by two other individuals who would have to breathe in those gases regardless of consequence?

Tony.

Sounds like a severe lack of leadership, management and consequence going on mate. It'll end in tears.

Welcome to my world Andy. This all occurred before I got to work this morning as I had to go to the Doc's for a blood test.:( Problem being, no one but me sees the latent danger in this idiot.

Sadly mate when it happens they'll bleat like tarts that it wasn't their fault as they lay in intensive care with severe injuries.

He should have been marched off the premises. Summary dismissal territory that.

Should have seen the s*** we used to get up to a work.....;)
We've all done crazy stuff Mike. This though is verging on Darwin awards. If the building goes up the business is history.
