I watch the zed shed with interest and like the work the boys do, with this in mid I wanted to come up with a few methods to speed up the rear beam removal procedure.

Welcome to the zed shed Scotland :)

Rear beam removed in 5 mins, easy access to all the fixings and no need to crawl around on the floor ....

Of course I protected the passenger side with some old tyres as not to damage the paintwork :)

continuing the theme, I thought I would work out the best way to get the engine/gearbox out, the help of a 50+ year old lift will do the trick.

Not sure the zed shed Scotland will do much business though!
 
Nice to have another franchise on board. So we now have Southern, Midlands and Scotland. Nice to see the old methods being used!

10 out of 10 for effort and for having a go but as the Zed Shed Scotland division is a little to north for me I'll stick to the Southern Division

Doon sarf in the midlands we have a similar approach to cutting customers repair times, much easier than messing with that silly little jack in the boot:
