Lovely car Ian. My Zed had a spurious M badge on the boot which was removed after a few seconds attention with a heat gun. I still have M style gills on the front wings. I like the gills but the M badges will have to go before I am banished from the site!

Cheers,

Jonno
Thanks.

Yes - it will be gone quickly. Have seen heat guns mentioned before. Am hoping a hair dryer will do the job. Fortunately, other than the standard M badges on wheels and steering wheel that's the only one. Am sure you'll get a stay of execution on your remaining badges

Great looking car - health to enjoy - you'll need a car park soon!:)
Got to make a car park - Some of the lawn will be sacrificed. Both boys are likely to want parking spaces soon too :(

I think I can just about forgive the previous owner as he was obviously aspiring for an M but as he is going in that direction good on him.

Lovely colour combo and worth sacrificing the few options for the looks.
It was an earlier owner who did the badge. The current owner wants to change the car. Maybe I can sell him the badge back?=))

I got to the point where I thought I could be chasing ages to get the right spec if I couldn't get the colours. I much prefer the light interior. Makes the car (any car) feel lighter and larger. Against blue - magic! A touch of class.

Great looking car with that colour combination Ian, @Redline. But then I am biased;). Congratulations on the find, I hope you have many happy years together.

Thank you. Had been watching this a few weeks. The seller is a complete petrolhead - has a Mitsubishi Evo in the garage. Just got to dig the lawn up now for a space to park it

I don't know about the self levelling I was lucky the e61 was self levelling being an estate. I tried the High Power Bulbs ( PIAA were the best I found)then tried aftermarket HiD's ,then got some xenon light units. I found the PIAA bulbs a good improvement , the HiD's were not much better the zenon in a different world.
