Nothing to see here, especially Andyglym.

Its caused by wet carpets - lift the seat - the carpet is in 2 halves with the seam under the seat, put your hand through the gap and I bet the foam is sodden. only way to sort that is to take the entire interior out and then find the leak.

Ok mate will check that out, however there's no musty or damp smell in the car. Thanks for that though, didn't know that. Cheers.

No worries pal - that will all just wipe off with Milton as someone suggested. Leaks can come from anywhere, on my old one I emptied the entire cabin and it turned out to be the seal on the A pillar, not where the roof joined the car as I initially suspected.

I also use the condensation bags in winter as well.

That happened once to our Z3. We never did find out how it happened although in subsequent years we left disposable dehumidifiers in each foot well and in the middle console as well as the boot. Mandy used astonish mould and mildew remover sprayed onto a cloth to remove the mould, cleaned the carpets then cleaned the car as normal. It never happened again.

So!!! No leak, open bottle of water behind passenger seat seeping onto a 2024 UK map🤣. Soggy map removed, hopefully problem solved. Thanks to Bertijaffa for advice, thankfully foam dry.
