Nothing better to do?

As if the Police don't have better things to do, they have been busy round our way today. Shirl went in to Gainsborough this morning and about 3 miles away at Gate Burton the Hunt was gathered at one side of the main A156 road and the "Protestors" were amassed at the other taking their safety in their hands rushing across the road to confront the horses and Riders.
Later on this afternoon I went for a quick road test and, at Laughterton, there was more Police activity, at a local Pig farm. I counted 12 Police vehicles (so how many Officers I don't know) cars parked here , there and everywhere. Don't yet know what this was about apart from three pig farm hands from a few miles away had just been found guilty of cruelty to pigs, may be connected?

We get hunt sabs out here mate, a lot of them don't even care about old charlie fox, just a chance to have a go at the local gentry, I stopped a couple of weeks ago to help out a landy that was boxed in by 2 vans, the van drivers where skinhead thugs, it got rather heated but the landy got out

The most worrying thing is that’s probably most of the manpower for the division all in one place. And that won’t be an exaggeration.

They don't use Charlie fox anymore so as Sean says its all about causing hassle now days. I totally agree fox hunting is wrong but here is nothing wrong with the hunt using a human fox. We went to the boxing day hunt and had a great time. I do think they push the horses to hard but that's the way it's always been.
Back on track, yep a total waste of police resources, while they are stuck there sorting out the morons Bobby burglar is busy destroying people's lives.
