Ha Ha, I have hit one and had one hit me, neiher time was it fatal for the Roo. Problematic at dawn and dusk mainly, hiding off the side of the road they can cover the width of the road quickly, so you have next to no time to react. Best bet is to NOT swerve to avoid, just drop speed as quick as you can, difficult as this is because instinct kicks in. There are too many trees with little white crosses on themPoor thing.

In some parts of the Northern Territory 130kph is allowed, but this person was doing well over that I'm certain..
