Grilled Kangaroo.. Holy Dooley... I,m sure there is a traffic code been violated here...Poor grasshopper.. :oops:

In some parts of the Northern Territory 130kph is allowed, but this person was doing well over that I'm certain..

Ha Ha, I have hit one and had one hit me, neiher time was it fatal for the Roo. Problematic at dawn and dusk mainly, hiding off the side of the road they can cover the width of the road quickly, so you have next to no time to react. Best bet is to NOT swerve to avoid, just drop speed as quick as you can, difficult as this is because instinct kicks in. There are too many trees with little white crosses on them :(

I have not encountered a roo. But I once hit a cow.
She tried to cross a street without looking because she was busy checking her facebook page.

In case nobody noticed: the car has german licence plates and we don't have any kangaroos here...

That, gentlemen, was a young deer and reports of this accident can be found on local social media, including more pictures (which I won't post here because they're really no fun to look at).

Near the beginning of my internet viewings, I've saw a deer wrapped around an engine. I think it was hit on a German autobahn. It may have been that one, but I remember it being worse than that.

I've also seen a deer's leg sticking out of the grill of a Metro, but that was outside our house in Scotland. My mum said that she thought she might have hit something (or someone :eek:) on the way home from work over the Glenifer Braes one winter's night. The deer must have seen the car and tried to leap over it, but the front hoof went through the radiator. It was a tight enough fit that my mum didn't lose too much coolant. The leg was ripped of at the shoulder. The body then hit the windscreen and the roof.

Insurance would have written the car off, but a new radiator, a new windscreen and a venison pie solved the problem. The carcass was mush by the time my dad found it a few hours later.

Well there you go, you can't believe everything you read on the internet obviously. =)). Thanks for the heads up, I thought you had plenty of kangaroos in Germany ..:whistle:
