North Coast 500

@Tfp maybe you should start a thread to see who would be interested in the NC500, I would be without a doubt as I would like to do it with fellow zedders, how many days did it take you.

I will get round to doing this when i can stop myself going to Europe

I gave it 6 days including a whole day in Edinburgh at the end. That included a day at each end to drive up from Cambs so it could be a 3 day trip starting in Wick or Inverness.

I reckon there's loads more to see other than what I saw, we'd need to get an expert involved to plan for us.

The most difficult part may be getting accommodation for a group if it's large. I stayed a couple of nights in nice places, the rest in cheaper places.

Lochinver and Wick had lots of B&B's.

I'd be happy to do some research if a few fancy the idea.

Glad to see you had a memorable road trip with no mishaps, agree it's pretty scary when your on a single track road on the brow of a hill and the bonnet of the Z is pointing up to the sky and you can't see a b***** thing.
