Well possibly. But the theory is the B4 has standard damper travel and is therefore not best matched to a reduced height Sport spring.

Are your springs standard or lowered?
lowered by 30mm eibach's

but soon to be 45/30mm eibachs

you don't have to run shorter shocks with a 30mm drop

i have lowered dozens of cars, many of them on standard shocks to no i'll effect

Re: the Monroe and Meyle. Would love to bag a bargain with these. But is the stroke length shortened for use with Sport/shorter springs?
The Monroes worked perfectly with -30mm Eibach springs

Fitted Spax springs and dampers all round on mine, was on sport suspension and these lowered it some more, and the insurers didn't mind at all when I phoned to tell them. Same with all the other things I've changed. Guess it's better to declare than not to.

I just checked the price of OE BMW parts. £200 for a Sport front strut. And £150 for a rear. So £700. With springs I'd guess it's closer to £1,000.

You can get a B12 kit with springs for £600.

Hence why I'm looking at Bilstein on cost alone.
If you want to buy a B12 kit, buy Eibachs version it’s cheaper at £554 from autodoc.co.uk.
