,and I saw this Boulder and couldn't resist ,what do you think? I've always thought I'd make a bathtub this way but I've just hatched another plan for a bath .im beginning to think I've got too much time on my hands lol.

I think you've got a natural eye for this sort of stuff, seeing things that most don't. It's a gift mate

Oh, looks spot on.

Looks great Hugh, but what did you use to cut the boulder in half in the first place?

Yep, the Welsh are still in the stone age, that's what you are given in a Welsh hospital when you need to go to the bog...:D

To lift this, you wouldn't mess with the nurses

Just kidding, love this kind of stuff. Few years ago was looking at something similar but with a pedestal as well for the bathroom.
Worked out I could get it up over the balcony with a crane but then worked out it would probably go straight through the wooden floor and end up in the kitchen.

I love this sort of stuff, very individual, must have taken a while,

Thinking out of the box - it's the only way - very unique!
I wish I could take the credit but I'm a blatant ideas robber,I see stuff and it sparks something ,this came from a local walk we took over some nearby hills where over the years farmers would allow their cows to roam the hillsides and call them down to milk them .they would be tied to a ring driven into the Rock and there would be a feed trough carved like a bowl in the rock next to it.they must of done it like that for century's

Polished by cows tongues, would be worth a mint in London :D

Brilliant!
It's great when you can make with your own hands an unique, natural and functional thing. The reward is priceless satisfaction.

Love this Hugh, well done, little projects like this are good for the soul;)

That is brilliant Hugh, you'll have to build another cottage to put it in.

Mount it on the back of your tractor Hugh, off with the front weight do wheelies up and down the drive. Wash your wellies off in it before entering the house, "jobs a good en". A real clever clogs you are.!!!!!!!:thumbsup:nice work.;)

Rha, Roy.
