Total refurb ,No water,new windows ,no plumbing,chimney collapse ,need permission to convert a chapel ,stable and granary into holiday lets with no money.Great fun if you like this sort of stuff
 
My kind of project!

20 Years ago I was doing the same sort of thing. You never seem to be getting anywhere for ages and then it all comes together.

Great feeling seeing and helping your children succeed.

Good for both your daughter and you for getting stuck in, she will get far more pleasure from this house/home than buying a ready made new house.

Well done to you all for taking on a project like this on Hugh. Our son bought an old semi in Lincoln a few years ago and he had to gut it totally. New plumbing,heating,electrics the lot. In the depths of mid winter it looked a hopeless case but now it's a gorgeous home for him and his wife to be,they get married in November.:)
