I've been having a bit of bother with a certain parts supplier, wont mention any names but they're Euro, based in the UK and sell car parts!!:whistle:
Ordered a water pump £22 plus a thermostat £54 by phone, went to the local depot to collect and only the thermostat was in, so I had a little moan and got the thermostat reduced to £28, lucky me.

So I then ordered a set of 4 Bilstein shocks and was told they were special order and would take about 5 days to arrive, no problem said I I'm not in any hurry. Went to store to collect the following week and one rear had arrived, well wheres the other three I asked, they haven't been ordered I was told ???:(

OK can you order them now please and wheres the water pump? Special order Sir, I know I said but where is it? Hasn't been ordered! Now a little annoyed:mad::mad: Please can also order the pump please? Yes Sir all done we are so sorry the parts will be about 5 days.

So today I was in the area as I been to BMW to get a few bits so I thought I would pop in as its near by and just check when the parts would be in. Guess what? Correct NOT ORDERED :mad::mad::mad::mad:

Now I ask for the manager and ask him, Can you supply the parts and are you prepared to order them? Yes Sir he says I really am sorry someone is getting their arse kicked for this (his words) I will personally order these for you and I will discount them :):):) and if they don't arrive I will personally take the money from the safe and go and buy them at BMW!!!!o_O Yeah OK=))=)) Well I could have done that and it would be cheaper but I want Bilsteins:confused:

Have you ever heard such a crock of ...... Well here's hoping my pump and shocks arrive and at least I will get something knocked off. One thing this country can learn of the Yanks is customer service.

And I will let you know if I ever get them Zedshed don't dust off the spanners just yet;);)
 
Oh dear that's a bit crap. I think I'd have walked by now with no intention of returning. After all they are one of a very big pond of fish!
 
Thats pretty poor but if it gets a good discount then it will sofen the trauma.....:thumbsup:
 
Unbelievable I can't understand why your parts have never been ordered the management needs an arse kicking
 
I tell you what it would be funny if I wasn't so bloody annoyed, BUT lets see what the discount is, you don't pay until the items arrive so it had better be good or there will be a returns form needed.

Just make sure you get more than 25% off as this is what is being offered if you order on line and collect at store? (use code sale25)
Two week ago they were offering 30% off, I bought new HT leads, plugs. oil filter, engine oil, engine flush and paper oil filter. I saved over £30
