I kept checking the date
I should of phoned them really to see if it wasn't a mistake
I should think their on a good wage today
About the only day the shops can't bleed us all dry!
They are over here but that is only of any use if I run out of beer.....

Our local store is open all day. Mind he even opens on Christmas day. We never stock up now as he sells everything. So if we run out like we have with Kitchen Foil i just pop down and get what we need. Very handy
But not large stores
Bloody great big supermarkets are open over here Shelly.
Different laws mate. Works on square metres over here. Don't know what the size rules are but convience stores can open but supermarkets can't. When I worked at the car supermarket we could open but NOT sell! The owner made me open up and have all the sales guys in, in an attempt to line business up for the following day. Bloody ridiculous it was. Council used to send mystery shoppers in and if you were caught taking a deposit they'd be hell to pay.
