No ...... It's too early

Here's one for the CD. Where's Steve got to lately?
I noticed he hasn't signed in for a while and when I checked the dates it doesn't look like he has since everyone got s****y over the birthday posts. Could be wrong of course and he could very well be on holiday.

Well I hope he's on holiday then mate. Can't really see why he took offence over the "birthday" thread, unless I missed some of it.

And back on topic - tree up two weeks before and down on 12th night, that's plenty.

And don't get me started on Christmas adverts on TV, on already, in the middle of November. We'll be having them before our summer hols soon:rage:

Christmas tree has been up all year, lights flashing, etc:)
We have a small tree that stays up all year and gets decorated as each new celebration approaches! Then at Christmas two more larger one's appear and get decorated long with the fireplace which get's my wife's German Nutcracker collection on the hearth and Mantle along with her Christmas Dutch mantle scarf. I love it and hate putting it all away too soon!! JIM

I just about remember (well it was a long long tine ago) my Mam would never put the decies up before the 20th December, she said it was bad luck to do it any earlier, everything was hand made with Crepe Paper, she also made flower display's out of used tin can's, I think it spoils it now when people put the decies up to early, by the time Christmas comes along they have been up for a month in some places and they become old hat by the 25th, when the tree went up at my Mams House we knew Christmas had begun, The Christmas Songs would go on during the day, the dinning table would be permanently filled with treats, Pork Pies, Sausage Rolls, Sandwiches, Sponge Cake, Mince Pies, Pickles, Biscuits, Cheese & Crackers, Various Nuts in the shells, and whatever else she would have, and taking pride of place in the centre a huge bowl of fresh fruit, and the bottles of Spirits would also be "On Show" on the table. In the Larder would be my fathers pride and joy, a wooden keg of beer.

An old fashioned street fighter you indeed are!

You got a light up tree in the cab Grumpy:whistle:
No as I won't be here cos we break up on the 23rd and don't go back until the 4th Jan. Don't quite know what I'm going to do with all that time off at Christmas. Being in the food game previously I only ever got Christmas day off.
