Beautiful evening with clear skies and a full moon, even fairly warm.

So 23:30 and decided to go for a drive

I drove back from Goodwood Revival mostly in the dark along Surrey's finest single carriageway 'main' roads on Friday. There's so much on forums about how poor Z3 lights are I was somewhat apprehensive. I need not have worried, they're not bad at all. My main car is an X-Type with HID dipped beams and, yes, they are better, but not dramatically. My Good Lady has a Nissan Leaf with LED dipped beams but we have yet to drive it at night to see how they perform.
