Had a great run up to Crawley in the Zed today to watch Crawley v Mansfield. Like a Mediterranean summer today in Sussex

Better weather than when Crawley went to Mansfield .

I flew into Heathrow yesterday afternoon from Bahrain and the skies were clear. I drove home to Cornwall in lovely weather, it was like mid summer

Not a bad result either, especially if you're a Crawley fan

How did it compare with Bahrain? :)

Bahrain was 38 degrees when I arrived at 8pm last Sunday night, and daytime temperatures were 41-42 degrees. The air was still, with no breeze at all and I was struggling to breathe when I had to do a 20 minute outside job. I spent most of my time in an air conditioned building so I was ok but I was glad to come home.

I drove home to Cornwall in a balmy 16 degrees.

We're going to Portugal for a holiday next weekend but as much as I like warm weather I'm glad the temperatures will stay below 30 degrees.

And where’s the next world cup.....next door to Bahrain in Qatar. It will be bad enough for the supporters let alone the players

I remember it well, I spent all of 1965 there.
