Nice Zed with a good write-up. I'd buy the All Agro just to set fire to it if I could afford it :D
I'd give him the original 1974 selling price to scrap it :yuck:.

The allegeo was the single worst car ever built bar none. Absolute shocking piece of rubbish! 10000 miles or not I wouldn't give £500 for it. Just awful cars.

Watch the Allegro rise in value more than the Z3!
It seems that cars that were crap when new are now becoming sought after.

MK4 Cortina, MK2 Escort, Reliant Robin van, rubber bumper MGB to name a few.

Some of these cars were so bad that they are now seen as good. I saw a MK1 Escort Estate sell for £20,000 recently.

Even the Marina is collectable now. I had a 1.8 Estate and it was really fast, in fact it could wipe the floor with most family cars from a standing start.
But the reviews about poor handling were not wrong. If you took a corner at speed the car would understeer straight off the road like a demented clockwork toy.

He he, that torsion bar suspension was a design masterclass in how things shouldn't be done.

Mine used to use about 2 litres of oil a week, good job I had a ready supply of Shell E30 from work .
