You can say that again, I’ve spent a fortune on bikes and that was before they started selling for silly money. Still got a shed full of them but don’t ride now.

I used to race in the late 80s ..which probably now explains the arthritis in my knees. My riding exploits are limited now…and my collection is now back in single figures (just)

Campagnolo 8 speed Athena, the brake calipers are some classic campag monoplaners that I managed to get off a bloke in Toulouse! My first good race bike was a Peugeot built from Reynolds 531 professional tubing, followed by Colnagos, Concordes,Mercian, Raleigh Titanium, Pinarellos and an Opera.Fortunately I got a lot of stuff at trade price as I was in the trade for a while.
