On a more serious note i would remove the burs and flexi fill the lid and with the seat dye touch it in i think i have tints to help you get a match somewhere
Yeah that may work sanding would be ok but these panels almost appear plastic coated.
Plasti dip may recoat it if you could get a colour match.
That stuff peels off if you need to go at it a few times.
