I have just been lucky enough to purchase a partly finished Tribute 250 SWB. Donor Z3 was 3.0l (in very good condition).
Currently have Throttle Position Sensor issues (have now got one for install, later this week) Will also service, fresh oil, filter etc. as car has been standing for a while.
Have a list of to do's. Along with many questions too.
1. Door skins to fit. Need to decide whether to retain BMW remote locking.
2. Tiger seal in the small access bonnet in to the main front clam.
3. How far to go with the interior. Would prefer the classic period look. However still want modern facilities A/C, Decent radio/stereo, with blue-tooth connection, electric roof and windows.
4. Seat options?
5. Rosso red paint, with black interior
Luckily I have a CNC machine to produce, interior parts (door cards, switch panels). Might even machine aluminium gear H-pattern plate.
Any links of advise welcome.
