Hi All.
Recently new to Z4 ownership. The car belongs to my wife. We bought it for her as a daily drive and for weekend fun. She was enduring my hand me down 2009 Mondeo tit x sport which I had racked up over 200k miles on for a couple of years while I enjoyed my new car, 2015 Audi A6 3.0tdi 272bhp Quattro black edition with super sports interior!
I think you will agree my wife deserved better! Our neighbour has a 56 plate Z4 2.5Si roadster. They have owned it since it was 3 years old. They won’t sell it as they say there is nothing better to replace it with.
I previously owned a Porsche Boxster 3.2 S. it’s was great. I loved it. It was very expensive to buy and own. My neighbour offered me a drive of their car. I was so impressed, one week later we owned one! I cannot believe the value for money and driver satisfaction for this car.
I also enjoy fixing cars (most times!). Second day of ownership of Ted the Zed, it broke down. Toolbox time. Diagnosed as a faulty number 6 cylinder injector, investigated and fount fault to be a loose connection. Fixed and roared into life.
I’m a real driving enthusiast and enjoy advanced driving with the training to back it up. Windy roads and limit point analysis is my bag! When not driving cars I can be found in either my racing glider at 140kts or teaching others to fly in a training glider.
Happy to lend a helping hand to anyone who needs help with their car.
