Hello there,

Just a newbie checking in to say hello to all you beamer owners. My name is Stuart and on Thursday afternoon I'll be the new proud grinning owner of a 1999 Z3 roadster. Can't bloody wait! I'm collecting from north London and immediately taking off back up north to Manchester in it. Bit daft doing such a long journey immediately after buying a used (old) car, but unfortunately I have no choice, that's where I live! But the chap I buying from seems sound, as does the roadster. Wish me luck! Look forward to chatting and picking your brains in the future as I've never owned a Z3 before, and have lots of questionsView attachment 66039 . All the best.
Hi Stuart and welcome to the forum from Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. Nice looking car. Looks like a Boston Green from the pictures. I have one that I bought from someone in Maryland and drove it back to Egg Harbor Township. It just occured to me that I might hold the record of the greatest distance driven by a owner of a new Zed. I had bought a secone Zed in San Deigo, CA and another formu member flew over to Philadelphia from the UK and we both flew to San Deigo and took 6 days to drive it back here for a distance of 3200 miles. As I just realized this migh be the forum record, I'll post this question now to the entire forum. Again, welcome.................Frankie
