Hi All!!

We were recommended to join this group at the Silverstone Classic Weekend by a fellow Z3 owner (thank you and hi if you see this).

We recently purchased a 1.9i Z3 and it needs a lot of love and work. Not sure what section of the forum we should post this on but we need help with finding parts. Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance.

Natalie (and Rob)

The actual wedding and reception was at Stainton St. Quintin I spotted a silver Z3 outside a house on our way back last night.

Was it down a quite country road and the car parked on the road directly outside the house? If so that was probably us lol.

:welcome: to the Forum from West Cumbria. As Tony said, pop a Wanted request in that section, we have a number of breakers on the forum that may be able to help with quality parts.

Hi, no I saw it again just now as me and our son returned from breakfast. It was intact in town a bout a mile from the house we're renting, must've been the wine.

Hi and :welcome: from Camberley, depending on which parts you need, our resident breakers can probably help, @ spurs fan in a coupe is not too far from you or for new parts you can usually get recommendations on here.

Hi and welcome from me. https://www.realoem.com/ is your friend for looking up part numbers in case you can’t find what your after on here. You will get hits for Google searching them. Plenty of videos on YouTube if you fancy tackling some items yourselves and write ups on here, plenty to read.
If you can be more specific on what your trying to fix etc we might be able to steer you in the right direction if you can’t find it.

Welcome to the Forum, you have arrived at probably the best Z Forum for information and help for your Z3 or Z4 model.
Its also worth adding your location in on your user details so it appears in the left hand side of your posts or add it in as part of a signature together with the model of your car(s) so you get answers to questions you post that are pertinant to your particular model.
Also very worthwhile to arm yourself with a decent code reader to scan your car when faults crop up. You can either go down the laptop based software such as BMW INPA or a handheld scanner like a Creator 310+ which is a good choice but not so good for models before 1999.
All available on ebay and Amazon for little outlay, they pay for themselves first time you have to use them when faults appear.

Welcome to Forum, its great when we get feedback like yours that you were recommended to the site after visiting the Z3 Roadster/ M Coupe display at Silverstone Classic. The owners on this site are such a friendly bunch, there is not problem that you have which hasn't been addressed already by someone some where in the world (even as far as Australia and NZ ).
Parts suppliers on here aswell, just put your list up.
