Yer there is plenty of track close to me to go have a play, I have Malory park like 2 mins away but as of yet I don't think they do drift days =(.
I will definitely start a thread once I start doing some half decent work to the car but for naw it's just save over winter ready for the summer.
I will probs just weld the diff if it brakes its cheep enough to just buy a nother open diff and re weld.
Is there anything you would advise doing to the car suspension/steering wise that I haven't done yet I am planning on changing the TCA bushes for a harder bush like a power flex bush or similar but apart from that, that's about it
Mallory did afew drift days then awesome fest almost got them shut down because their was 1000+ Hp cars drifting round track making limiter bashing noises till about 11/12 at night and the already unhappy neighbors finally had somthing they could go to the council with Hence They don't like drift cars their much anymore
Only thing I'd do setup wise whilst your learning I'd just weld the diff and stick some coilovers on it , once you get the hang of it stick some modified hubs and modified rear subframe on it and youl be able to drift much faster than before, you don't WANa set the car up to grippy whilst your learning as youl have to go balls out before you realy know what your doing , it will take you much longer and cost more in crashes to learn in a well set up car !!!
50 /60 psi in the rear tyres aswell, if your still struggling go to 70psi
Tyre pressures are one of the most important thing in drift car set up
