Hello zroadster community,
Many internet technical searches have brought me here over the years and I've found some great answers, thanks for your unknowing support. Now I feel I might need a little more community knowledge to keep our old Z3 going.
Having recently moved from the Peak district to Cambridgeshire I don't have the local knowledge I once enjoyed and I don't know if the two things are related, but it's fair to say my garage bills seem much steeper recently. Our Z3 is getting to a stage where I'm sometimes drawn to thinking, should she stay or should she go now...
The Z was a daily driver, but now she need deserves a well earnt retirement to the garage for dry use only, I'm keen to keep her but need to find ways to keep the bills sensible.
Which leads me to question 1. Lots of summer use with the top down has led to some deterioration of the roof. The window stitching has come away from the screen in the middle RH side so it's time to consider a pretty new roof. There is/was a rated supplier out towards Stockport, bit far now, can anyone recommend a firm nearer Cambs?

Our Z is a Black 1998 Z3 2.8i. Owned for 5years, mostly all original. 92K miles.
Recently had rocker gasket, vanos serviced, new cam sensor, new crank sensor, new disks pads all round, front shockers. Other general love and attention stuff too....
