Hi guys,

Going to look at a Z4 tomorrow morning, it’s a 2004 2.2i model.

Couple of questions:

1. Anything in particular I should be looking for or not as maybe the case?
2. What are the 2.2i models like? Read some reviews that say they should be avoided as under powered?

3. Current owner had new hood fitted back in June 2019, taken car out of winter hibernation and now the hood won’t work? Any tips on what to look for?

Thanks in advance all :)

Only thing I’m aware of in particular is removing the silly grin from your face when driving it . . . . . . . . ;) Regarding the hood that is the Achilles heel of the E85 models, was the hood working when it was put away and has it been inside or outside. Do any of the warning light illuminate when operating the switch, any movement at all, or noises?

Tony.

:welcome: from Glasgow. This is the best decision you have ever made. Fact. Zs are awesome and the community on here equally so. What sorta Z are are you looking for engine wise? Facelift or Prefacelift?
