John you'll maybe need to meet up on a weekend at some point.
A few of us that did the Scottish run this year have been talking about having a mini cruise meet on a more regular basis .
A lot of the Scottish members are a bit more scattered so dont meet up as much but aiming to change that a bit next year.
As next years Scottish run isn't till September.

Another meet of interest early in the year is the lakes run organised by @Andy McDonnell great run round the lakes over Hardknott pass and Wrynose pass i have been last 2 years and leading group 2 again next year ( a privilege to be asked again thanks andy)https://zroadster.org/threads/the-lakes-tour-2018.20352/
There's a number of other events on all over the country over the year the forthcoming event list will keep you in the picture Stephen. View attachment 70253Scottish run

I would be at the lakes with knobs on, fantastic place to drive unless you get stuck behind the saga coach hehe

Off on a bit of a tangent but I have moved to my desktop from my tablet and I thought I had a couple of pics, shame it wasn't washed and polished, it had just completed a 450 mile trip home after I bought it. That's my 3.2 DSG TT parked along side, It's starting to show its age a little and I can feel a 3M satin bitter yellow wrap coming on, I was planning a glass out respray but that colour of Gaz's wrap and the quality of it is stunning, Hope you don't mind Gaz?

Hi John good intro , welcome from London
Thankyou very much, another beautiful colour, I'm sorta regretting a silver car now, I did want a yellow one but this was the best example and I wanted the 35i

Has anyone thought of the north west 500 in Scotland for a superb location/route?, a once in a lifetime trip, for anyone who is not familiar with it just google it. A lot of the roads are like a snooker table flat according to some of the smart roadster forum members.

Hi Conrad, if you're ever heading through Anniesland give me a heads up and you'd be made welcome to call in for a cuppa and I'll show you just a handful of the motors since 2004, or maybe just the cuppa for now☺
Hi John, as soon as I get the wee beastie rolling again. I'm getting shox and springs on the front.

Thank you Shelley, It's a pleasure to be here. I've spent more time sat at my pc in the last 4 days when I joined than since I bought the thing.

Welcome to the generation where you and I can converse in a matter of seconds without a phone. Problem I find is sometimes people read something into a post that isn't really there. So get to know everyone as intimately as you wish and try not to read between the lines as some on here do!! JIM
