Good evening ladies & gentlemen: As the title says I am new to the site and new to Z ownership although I have in recent years I can count in my ownership along with many other marques... a 96 850ci, an 03 325i, an 02 740i so went through a wee BMW faze a few years ago,. Recently I've been right into smarts, had three roadsters one of which was a Brabus, an early lhd 450, and last of the smarts was a 450 Brabus.
This brings us up to date and I'm down to a 2004 Audi TT 3.2 VR6 DSG which I still have and can't bring myself to sell it as it will be the most used over the winter so I can keep my baby Z away from all the potholes and shifty stuff they spread on the roads.
So to the Z... I treat myself to a 2012 35is, absolutely fully loaded, must've cost the former & first owner a shitload of cash, like my Audi it's the twin clutch 7 speed and I absolutely love the damn thing. If I have any minor gripe it was specified with the 19" light vee alloys with run flat Bridgestones which aren't best suited to the disgraceful roads (I bought the car from down south) so I'd rather have 18" which have got like 5 twin spokes but I like the wider rear wheel look. I done know the notations for all these things, all these numbers mess with my head. Now just a quick line about me, I'm 58, retired with too much time on my hands, no family or real friends here so would like to get together with like-minded people for social meets and rallies so if you're passing I always have a pot of gourmet coffee on so all are welcome
John
P.S. pics to follow soon
