Hi all,

Just come across this forum whilst reading about BMW meets throughout 2017 so thought I'd introduce myself!

My name is Steve, currently live in Warlingham but from Box Hill, I'm 29 and work in Recruitment.

Previously owned a number of different cars including Seat Ibiza Cupra, 106 GTI, e36 325i and 318ti, Audi TT, Polo GTI with a 20vt conversion, 2 x Mini Cooper S's, 2 x RenaultSport Clio's and an Audi A1 S Line plus more!

Hopefully the attachments work as it's not allowing me to post picture links!

My most recent car was a very low mileage R53 Mini Cooper S. I loved it but I wanted something more mature / comfortable.

I was looking at an Audi TTS when I stumbled upon an advert for a Z4. I've always loved the Z4, both e85 and e89 but thought the e89 would be out of budget.

I went to have a look at it and loved it!

Very high spec, Alpine White with Canberra Beige extended leather, pro nav, 19" 326's, Comfort pack and extended lighting.

I've added a few touches since I bought it...

- Changed number plates
- Had the roll hoops sprayed Gloss Black
- Fitted Gloss Back kidney grills
- Fitted Stubby Aerial
- Fitted Gloss Black side repeaters
- Fully debadged
- ///M pedals

I'm not a fan of the black side repeaters so they're being changed to Alpine White this week.

It's being lowered on Eibach springs at the end of Jan.

I'm in the process of making a splitter for it in the style of s BMW Performance Splitter. Early days but my mock up in Ply is looking good!

Let me know your thoughts!

Hi again Steve, wow you've had a fair selection of cars there! Some of the guys on here are currently looking at producing themselves a rear spoiler for the E85 model (roadster). I would like to see the finished article of your splitter when it's ready, good luck with it mate. There are a few E89 owners on here so should be some interest I'm sure. Happy New Year,

Tony.

ps. That's one gorgeous Z4, love it!

Thanks all!

I'd like to get to as many meets as possible this year! I usually end up finding out about them after they've happened so I'm determined to research all of them and get them in the diary so I don't forget!

It only lasted a few weeks unfortunately, I stupidly bought it for top money without having it properly checked out... it was stunning from the top, from the underneath it was a different story and it was rotten.

I always wanted an Escort Cosworth but my time with the RST put me off!

Sadly there's plenty of horror stories out there with all marques. Yep, me too on the Cossie but time (and funds) passed me by. Rather have my Zed now though.

There is a Euro cruise in June. We did it last year and extended it to take in the Alps was an all round excellent experience with like minded zedders
