Firstly welcome, to the group and thought I would share my experience of recent coilovers.
Firstly I decided on KW3's over eibach was flexibility, as I can easily change my car from fast road to track monster with a £10 an going to kwick fit.
I have installed KW’3 on the car and has totally transformed its behaviour – it feels much more connected to the road, without been harsh and its ability of speed bumps is better than OEM. I thought it was a placebo effect initially, but from last Sunday – I realised it had evolved from a cruiser to a sports car.
Over last weekend, we did the Oopnurthring in the peak district, and there are some fantastic driving roads in that part of the country, and below are details of the route we completed.

I did not have much opportunity to view the fantastic views, but any driving enthusiast I would recommend to try this out.
I was very nervous my E89 leading the pack of E85’s and Z3M’s – ensuring that my car and my driving was able to provide them a good experience. I must confess the E89 did not let me down; it has become the car I wanted it to be, the ability of turn in on sharp corners – and been handle sweeping corners with creating ease.
I must confess that I would not been able to drive in the manner I did - with stock suspension - on reflection how the car handled the uneven roads - and sudden dips was such an revelation - compared to its previous setup.
So if you feel that your car handling is letting you down, I can honestly recommend adding KW’3 as they made the car as it should have been – more driver focused.
