Hi and welcome ..... Change it regularly (at least once a year I did mine at 5000k and will do it again before next spring even if I don't hit 5k and with good quality oil, it will thank you in the long run. Its a relatively cheap maintenance regime, oils are cheap compared to a knackered engine

Hi all, new to the site..just got my first z3 and really pleased. Can anyone help Re any events round Wakefield, West Yorkshire area? Also, I want to carry a spare litre of oil with me due to previous events and experiences...the handbook is a bit vague...I have the 2.8 wide body, 1988 model.....any advice or recommendations on best oil to use and frequency of oil changes? Thanks.
