Newb intro

Hi everyone.

My name is John and I live in Cambridge UK with my wife.

Today I viewed & picked up my first Z3.

1998 Z3 1.9 Roadster auto. Boston Green with extended green leather & walnut(?) interior.... I love it!!

A few minor scratches and a broken driver mirror to sort - plus I seem to have lost power to my tail lights - to be checked tomorrow in daylight.

Otherwise 2 owners from new with all and I mean ALL service and mot paperwork from new!

Looking forward to learning more and doing lots of driving - never know, might even meet some of you in afield somewhere one day!

Update -tail lights were simply a poor connection and one bulb gone.
So all fine now - very happy!

Re the walnut console yes it is proper veneered walnut on the underside you can see the bare wood .

Your mirror if snapped off will need replacing ( no longer available from bmw) if the mirror casing are OK and the glass etc the probable way to go is one if these composite material one

Your need to get the base colour coded then use your mirror, motor, casing etc to complete.
