Hey everybody! I'm excited to have picked up a 1997 BMW Z3 with a 2.8. I've had a couple BMWs before (330xi E46 was my last), but I'm new to the Z3 realm. I'm from Cincinnati, OH, in case anyone is in the area.

I'm sure I'll have to swap out the suspension... probably with some Bilsteins and a set of Eibach springs (unless people recommend otherwise). First project will be replacing the ebrake cables. The seats need to be recovered or replaced. I'd love to do a little something with the wheels eventually (nothing crazy - just something to fill the rear wheel well a little better, as the stock 7" wheels look awkward). Also looking to do a little with the consoles (would love to swap the M console with gauges... maybe swap out the current rear console and install some speakers... all in good time).

Anyway, I'm excited to learn more about the Z - seems like it'll be a lot of fun!

Hello and welcome from me another 2.8 owner .the stock rims should be staggered on your 2.8 7.5 front 8.5 rear if from a zed , either way the best way to fill out the rear is to add 15/20mm spacers makes them look more meaningful as they are quite tucked under as standard.
Lots of things can be done to improve a zed its one of its pleasures enjoy
