Hi all, sold my z3 it is now living in the black country. I have bought a 2.5 Z4 lot different from the Z3. Busy cleaning it up and getting to know my way around the car, loving the power. The roof is badly stained from bird droppings etc conventional soft top cleaners are not shifting it , any ideas?

Hot soapy water, applied by a cloth on the area to soften the stain up, can gently use a soft brush to agitate the effected area. Once you have it clean I would let it dry and give the top a Hoover and use some like masking tape or lint roller to remove hair lint etc then use a cleaning kit like autoglmy to give a final clean and apply the conditioner/proofer to seal.

Thanks for the comments, only been for a short drive so far, going out today to make the most of the good weather. The previous owner has replaced the original beige seats with some black ones off a later model, they dont match the rest of the beige interior so on the look out for two beige seats to take it back to original.
 
Toledo blue is one of the great blue's on Z4 👍🏻 Did you change the seats to black? As it would have been cream originally

thanks I really like the colour, no the previous owner changed the seats, said these were more comfortable, doesn't seem to be to me. II would have kept them cream, there are a pair on ebay which I may buy and change them back again.
I am also after a pair of standard black and chrome grilles, dont like the matt black ones on my car, I like to keep things original.
 
Not sure what the previous owner was on about as it seems they have changed from cream leather to black cloth! Would be nice to have it look more colour matched 😉
