I was recently looking at some youtube articles reference Z3 radiators I was surprised to see that someone was commenting its best to change your radiator and water pump around 60,000 miles which i thought was a bit much, mine has done 59,000 but then looking at my own radiator I found it had a very slight leak where the plastic tank and the core are crimped together oh bugger so then looked into the availability of the replacements, surprised to see that they varied from £90.00 to £380 but this was for the same aluminium and plastic crimp on crap that everything comes out of the factory with. Some of the cheaper ones when you looked at the diamensions were down on capacity so I looked further for a solid alloy radiator and found an excellent company called Gravity Performance on Ebay this is all ali construction the correct size and hand made, spoke to the company were very helpful subsequently ordered the rad arrived within 48 hours is excellent quality and build, fitted it, everything lines up perfectly, works a treat the nice thing about these rads is if you do get any damage or a leak you can get them repaired. £143.99 delivered. Another thing when looking on youtube for the fitting of them one guy on there was having a nightmare trying to get the fan off so you can get the rad out you dont need to take the fan off you just take the 2 pegs out of the top corners of the cowling lift the cowling up 1" move it back towards the engine and leave it hooked over the fan and lift the rad out. So dont watch his video for fitting instructions. Just a point the 2 plastic clips at the top that locate the rad, be careful when you put a flat bladed screwdriver in to the slot to release them push the screwdriver into the slot and lift the tab up carefully as they are a bit fragile but are available new. Basically you are looking at a half hour job.
