With the snow and the cold, AC was really dead. You could have shot a cannon down the boardwalk. Seven miles of no one home.
Wow eerily quiet Frankie, what time of day was that? Quite picturesque though:)

Within an hour of 10:30 AM You can see this spot very well on Google Earth. On break, back to the tables(3 card poker today).
Yes just had a look on streetview - looks very different to your photos Frankie - enjoy your 3 card poker...

I always wanted to say something about the East Anglian Crew but I always was so embarrassed about my unbelievable stupidity that I've kept my mouth shut. When I first joined the forum I used to read East Anglian Crew rather quickly and thought it said "East Anglican Crew". And I thought "mmmm.... must be a group of clergy driving BMWs". Then one day I took a closer look and realized that this must refer to an area of the UK. Please forgive me for being so stupid. Maybe you can fill me in on what I don't know. Respectfully, Frankie.

Had to listen to this at a very low volume as my wife is sleeping a few feet away. Couldn't quite figure it out. I noticed that there is a emblem on the left part of their shirts but couldn't read it. I'll check it out again when I can hear it better.

Perhaps this is a musical group. Then I would be totally lost. Don't follow any groups at all. Had some second cousins come over from Italy many years ago. They were talking to me and my brother. They asked me what I thought of the Eagles and I said 'they didn't do too bad last year, they won half their games." They looked very confused and asked my brother "aren't they an American group?" He told them "Don't mind him, you're asking the wrong person." A few years later two other cousins came over and attended the " Live Aid Concert" in Philadelphia. At dinner that evening they asked me what I thought of Bob Dylon and I asked "who's he?" Always liked classical and ragtime.

Hi Frankie, The EAC is a collection of Forum Members, most of which reside in East Anglia, with a few regulars on the outer perimeters. Apparently Hard Top would like to become a member of the EAC, as he is always waxing lyrical about our small, but active association!! If he succeeds, he will be the farthest 'Eastern Member' ever!! that is to say he has a long swim before he reaches our pub to join us for a drink, but it is not beyond the realms of possibility!!=))

They do survive this is ours last winter.

And this is the whole collection back home safe

18 th January that was.
All the horses made it back to the corral. Close your eyes and pull out. (Sorry about that.) I would think you must hate parking your car up close to the road risking an accident from a passing car or anyone who might lose control while passing your house.
I have a different problem. When they plow our street, if the cars are in the driveway, we get plowed in. If they're on the street, they still get plowed in. It takes an extra half hour of shoveling to get each car out. I also have a Ford F-150 4x4 pick-up. I love it I don't care where they plow the snow. I'll get over it or through it. Its really great. If I use it to take my wife (she is a dealer at Borgata casino) and myself to work 2 days each, or 4 working days. it has paid for the insurance for the year and the state registration fee.
Tonight we are supposed to get record cold, about 5 degrees F with a wind chill of about 10 to 15 degrees below 0 F. Tomorrow is also record cold. I brought in a load of wood for the stove. Should be enough for 2 to 3 days.

I have the same problem Frankie. we live on what we call a dual carriage way ( a divided highway to you ) and when the snow ploughs come past they pile the snow across the end of my driveway and also into the division of the road, so I have to take a running jump to get across into the opposite lanes of the road to go to work. Frustrating.
