Hi and welcome from South Wales , I have a 1.9 m44 engine 1998 and the round plug in point is on the left hand side as you look from the front , about half way up engine bay

Cheers I was looking for a rectangular one who put it in a round cap lol

Thanks gor sll the welcomes guys nice cars so good to save one. Been all over ebay snd few of the specialist breakers. First thing I'm looking gor is an antena can get from states fir about £100 don't know if that's a realistic price or not
If it is the antenna base you are after, they do tend to be pricey. If I am not mistaken, the same type was fitted to various models including the E36. @Faheem may be able to help as he is breaking one at the moment.
