Well here it is, my Saxo VTR track car, needs only a couple of bits for an MOT then off to screech around a track ASAP.

Well I spent Saturday afternoon playing with my new car. Seats swapped for ones with some cushioning! The old blue and black ones are missing a cushion I think!
The rear screen was glued in too, plastic rather than glass.
New beam going in this week, then it will be road legal.
Track day here I come!

Hi Terry
A beam is Citroen's name for the rear axle, both rear wheel bearings are knackered, I'm hoping that using a replacement axle will be easier than changing both bearings.
The 2nd hand part is only held on by 4 big bolts and includes the discs, calipers etc. (will have to change ads and maybe discs too). Handbrake cable etc.
I'll post some pics if anyone is interested.

Well I now have an MOT on the Saxo, just looking for insurance, then i'll be off to my first track day in my new toy.
In the mean time I have been having fun in this, at a time trial session, what a laugh! Just need to adjust the handling a little!
